The support you get will depend on your needs. Through Access to Work, you can apply for:
- a grant to help pay for practical support with your work
- support with managing your mental health at work
- money to pay for communication support at job interview
Many of our customers have a grant for office furniture so we have put together a collection of products that may help you see how far your budget can go.
Whats on offer.....
* Height Adjustable desks - it may by you cant actually stand for any length of time, but using a height adjustable desk will mean you can get the desk at exactly the right height for you, whether a little lower of a little higher than the standard desk height of 730mm. Our desks go from 625mm to 1280mm high, and we also offer an installation service so you dont need to worry about any of the assembling of the desk.
* Ergonomc Chairs - we have a wide range of chairs, but probably the most suitable chair for an Access to Work grant is the spynamics chair. This is a bespoke made chair to your size, with a wide range of accessories such as memory foam seating, extra lumbar support, lumbar pumps, thoracic pumps, 3 way adjustable arms and many more!
We offer a free virtual assement for the Spynamics Chair, from a qualified DSE Assessor.
* Mornitor Arms - the importance of these is often missed, it is crucial to have your screens at the right level to save neck and shoulder strain.
