If you have your Access to Work Grant approved you then need to ge the best chair for you. Many companies sell "off the shelf" chairs with maybe one or two adaptions, which really defeats the object.
At Emotion Office we offer a free assessment and make the chair from scratch bespoke for you and your needs. This includes a custom sized seat and back and options such as memory foam seat, memory foam back, thoracic pump, lumbar pump (as standard), headrest, four way adjustable arms and sacral pump. Often the chairs are SPYNAMICS chairs but if your grant doesnt allow for this amount of money we can make you a similar one tailored to your grant.
Each chair is offered in a wide variety of colours and fabrics, again that can be tailored to your grant.
For your assessment you will need to have Whattsapp on your phone and a tape measure handy. The assessment will be with a fully trained professional via a whattsapp video call, it will take between 15-20 mins.
You then have 2 different ways of proceeding, we can either be paid direct from the Department of Work & Pensions - this takes around 5-6 weeks, or you can pay for the chair yourself and claim back. Production of the chair takes around 2 weeks.
